Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to lead the development of next-generation simulation tools in materials science. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with teamwork, mentoring, and problem-solving to create impactful software solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.

  • Foster collaboration by mentoring and guiding team members, helping everyone grow professionally.

  • Write, debug, and optimize code using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and frameworks like React and Next.js.

  • Manage cloud-based systems, databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB), and AWS services.

  • Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing.

  • Contribute to technical decisions on tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance efficiency and innovation.

 
Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.

  • Experience with frameworks like React, Next.js, Three.js, and D3.

  • Strong knowledge of MongoDB, DynamoDB, and AWS services.

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools like GitHub Actions, Docker, and CI/CD processes.

  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
     

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in materials science or simulation software development.

  • Knowledge of Playwright, Bootstrap, and SASS/SCSS for UI/UX development.
